IKO Polymeric’s product range is only available to our trained contractor network. Our purpose-built training centres provide an ideal venue; fully equipped to satisfy both theoretical and practical training.
Practical training takes place in the workshop area where techniques are first demonstrated to the delegates and then each individual in the group receives intensive “hands on” training in all aspects of the system and its applications. Only when the trainers are completely satisfied that the correct level of competence has been achieved by the operatives will a contractor be approved to install the system.
No matter what the waterproofing type, we issue all of our trained and approved contractors with relevant and detailed application manuals. Email our technical team to request for installation guides.
Once a project is underway, one of our dedicated Field Engineers will visit site and work with the contractor to ensure that correct procedures are being carried out.
IKO Polymeric recommend that all roofs are inspected and maintained in accordance with the guidelines given in BS8217 : 2003, Clauses 11.3 to 12.2 inclusive. The frequency of inspections will depend upon local conditions, but there should be at least one visit each year.
