Having worked for a major competitor within the single ply industry for nearly 10 years, the time came to re-evaluate my career and the path it was taking.
The opportunity came to meet with the IKO Polymeric National Sales Manager Stuart Turnbull and within a very short period of time my mind was set.
Possibly one of the biggest decisions in my life was made, within minutes and I was a Business Manager working in the South East of England. It has given me a new lease of life and the opportunity to become part of a small, hardworking, dedicated team of professional individuals whose experience and knowledge is unparalleled within the industry.
My role within sales is never easy, never simple and always posing questions. However the team based at Clay Cross will always assist. It may be technical, sales, marketing or manufacture, it matters not as everyone will go the extra mile to keep the client happy.
Opportunities exist across the group, and all staff members are actively encouraged to apply. Your time within the business, your knowledge and experience are taken into account but appear not to limit the potential for growth.
So here we are after just one year, looking forward to tomorrow, rather than reflecting on yesterday.
