Is installer training available for single ply membranes?

Manufacturers of single ply flat roof membranes offer installer training as part of developing a network of approved or registered contractors. The different materials used to manufacture polymeric single ply membranes depend on different installation techniques, so for system suppliers to guarantee finished roofs it is necessary to train contractors in the specific use of their products.

What installer training does IKO Polymeric offer?

At a specialist training centre in Chesterfield, up to six operatives at a time can take part in an approved contractor training course. The course costs £200 and runs for either two or three days, depending on the participants’ experience.

Upon completion of the training, operatives are issued with a fitter’s card and their work is monitored on site by our team of Technical Engineers. For more details on becoming an approved contractor, contact our technical services team or your local Business Manager.
